J2534 Programming GM Global Architecture Vehicles

WARNING - Do not swap in used control modules on GM Vehicles using GM Global A Architecture.

The Global A electrical Architecture system does not allow control modules to be swapped between vehicles. Swapping control modules will result in a no start condition on the vehicle and will damage modules due to the new vehicle security code protocol.

Only new controllers from GM can be used if a replacement is needed.  Otherwise vehicle and/or controller damage may occur!   Watch this video to find out more and which vehicles this applies to.

This new system started in 2010.  These models have this system now:
  >  2010+ Chevrolet Camaro
  >  2010+ Chevrolet Equinox
